Sledsters to buy bar and bottle shop

Neighbors Bar and Campus Liquor soon will be under new ownership.

Matt Kasper, owner of Sledster’s Food and Brew in downtown Grand Forks, is buying both.

“I’m kind of operating Neighbors for the current owner now,” Kasper said. “So now it’s just officially changing hands.”

Kasper plans to make minor renovations to the bar, like a new paint job. He also plans to rename the bar, but hasn’t settled on a name quite yet.

“I think the community will enjoy it,” Kasper said. “I’m going to try to make it more friendly to the community and to college kids.”
