EAPC Architects Engineers is pleased to announce the addition of Christopher Skarie, PE, to the firm's Fargo office. Chris is a senior mechanical engineer in EAPC's Industrial Services Group. He was a civilian contractor in Afghanistan for the last three years, providing mechanical engineering support to the U.S. military for facility mechanical system design, troubleshooting and installation. Chris also supported land planning, supervised survey teams, created drainage and grading plans, and many other tasks as needed due to the wide diversity of needs in a combat environment.
Prior to his time in Afghanistan, Chris worked in consulting providing services to the sugar and ethanol industries including existing plants and new construction. He developed budgets, design specifications, drawing, and equipment/construction packages. He also worked as a design engineer for a material handling equipment manufacturer.
Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NDSU and is a licensed professional engineer.
