North Central Chapter of Credit Unions award scholarship and elect officers

The North Central Chapter of Credit Unions recently held

its election of officers and awarded their annual scholarship.

Re-elected to the board were Bonita Knatterud of North

Star Community Credit Union and Mark Motis of Citizens

Community Credit Union.

Katelyn Engh of Maddock was the proud recipient of the

2013 North Central Chapter of Credit Union's annual

scholarship. Katelynn will attend the University of Mary

and study Physical Therapy.

The scholarship is open to employees, employee's dependants

and volunteers of the North Central Chapter

Credit of Credit Unions. The employee or volunteer of the

chapter credit union must attend two of the previous

year's chapter meetings which make them eligible to apply.

Katelyn submitted a completed application, references

and essay. She received a $250 scholarship to use towards

her college education.

The North Central Chapter of Credit Unions is made up

of Citizens Community Credit Union, Tolna Coop Federal

Credit Union, Community Credit Union, and North Star

Community Credit Union. These credit unions serve the

following communities and surrounding areas: St John,

Bisbee, Devils Lake, Ft Totten, Lakota, Larimore, Northwood,

Grand forks, Tolna, New Rockford, Carrington, Fessenden,

Maddock, Bottineau, Cavalier, and Rugby. The

chapter meets throughout the year as an opportunity for

associates to network and receive education to help service

the members of the credit unions.
