GRAND FORKS — The new location for T.J. Maxx in Grand Forks will open on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 8 a.m.
The store, which is currently located at 2925 32nd Ave. S., will now be located next to Target on 3501 32nd Ave. S. Gordmans used to occupy the storefront, but closed in 2020. The storefront has been empty since.
The space is approximately 25,015 square feet and will offer an easy to shop layout, bright and spacious dressing rooms and a single line queue for faster checkout, according to a press release sent by the company.
Sierra, formally named Sierra Trading Post, which was acquired by TJX in 2012, will also be opening next door to T.J. Maxx. Sierra will offer a range of sporting goods and active wear.
In the release, the company announced it will contribute $10,000 to the Northlands Rescue Mission in celebration of the opening.

Store hours for T.J. Maxx and Sierra are 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
