Starbucks soon will open another location in Grand Forks.
The new location will be at 1419 S. Columbia Rd., according to a building permit filed with the city of Grand Forks.
This will be Starbucks’ third stand-alone location in town.
Another new business, a Military Career Center, will open at 1020 S. Washington St., according to a permit filed with the city. And downtown also will gain a business. A salon is coming to 216 S. 3rd St. The building is owned by Jim and Naomi Dunavan. The upstairs floor is a two bedroom apartment, Dunavan said. Lin Glimm is renting the main floor for the salon, according to Dunavan.
