North Dakota's avreage retail gas prices increased more than the national average last week, according to gasoline price website NorthDakotaGasPrices.com.
The average price in the state rose 5.2 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.13 a gallon Sunday. The national average increased 0.9 cents a gallon, rising to $3.07 a gallon, according to a news release.
"Including the change in gas prices in North Dakota during the past week, prices yesterday were 34.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 21.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago," the release stated. "The national average has increased 10.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 33.8 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago."
