Marvin to build 300,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution space in Fargo by mid-2022; hikes base pay
The window and door builder estimates that the two new facilities will add 150 employees to the 1,700 it already employs in Fargo and West Fargo.
FARGO - Window and door manufacturing firm Marvin plans to open nearly 300,000 square feet of new manufacturing and distribution space in Fargo by mid-2022, the company announced Thursday, Jan, 13.
The company said it build a 127,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and a 148,000-square-foot distribution center to meet increasing demand. The facilities are expected to add 150 new jobs for Fargo-area residents.
Marvin currently operates six facilities with more than 1,700 employees in Fargo and West Fargo.
In addition, Marvin is actively hiring at all of its Fargo-area locations and has increased its starting wage in Fargo to $20 per hour. Marvin employees are now also eligible for company benefits beginning on their first day of employment, without a waiting period, including healthcare, 401(k) match, profit sharing and more.
Overall, the firm said it expects to add 300 or more employees in 2022 as demand for Marvin offerings continues and product innovations evolve.

Marvin was started in 1912 and is a fourth-generation family-owned and family-lead business headquartered in Warroad, Minn.
The company has more than 7,000 employees across 16 cities in North America.
