Grand Forks-based JLG Architects is expanding into South Dakota.
The firm announced Wednesday that it would open an office in Brookings, S.D., its first office in that state. “We are very excited to be able to expand to South Dakota,” said JLG President Lonnie Laffen. "We love Brookings and look forward to working with and employing graduates from (South Dakota State University's) department of architecture.” Besides its Grand Forks office, JLG has offices in Dickinson, Fargo, Bismarck, Minot, Williston, as well as Alexandria, Minn., and Minneapolis. NDSU graduate Ryan Murphy will lead the Brookings office.
