AE2S(Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) has hired Matt Hoveland as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician in the firm's Grand Forks office. His primary assignments are working with clients on instrumentation and controls water projects, such as the various
communities and water districts doing telemetry upgrades.
Hoveland brings to AE2S more than six years of experience integrating
automation controls and telemetry equipment for water plants. Before joining the firm, Hoveland worked as a Maintenance
Electrician at J.R. Simplot in Grand Forks. He has worked on various projects including wind farms, pump stations, and various

commercial and industrial projects.
Originally from Thompson, North Dakota, Hoveland graduated from the apprenticeship program at Dakotas JATC. He holds licenses as both a Master Electrician and Journeyman Electrician.
Matt lives with his wife and daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and cheering for the
Minnesota Twins.
