If it's time for retirement, you should be looking at Devils Lake, one study says.

Devils Lake is the best place to retire in North Dakota, according to financial company SmartAsset.

Nearly 22% of the population in Devils Lake are seniors. SmartAsset found that there are 1.5 doctors' offices per 1,000 people in Devils Lake.

Devils Lake ranked 750 in the nation. Valley City is ranked the second-best place to retire in North Dakota, according to SmartAsset.

Grand Forks came in at No. 9 on the list. With 11.3% of the population being seniors and more than 60 doctor's offices in town, Grand Forks is one of the top 10 places to retire in the state.

SmartAsset based rankings off the amount of doctor's offices, recreation centers and retirement centers in the area. The study also looked at state and local tax rates and the amount of seniors in an area.

Naples, Fla., was ranked the best place in the United States to retire. More than half of that city's population is seniors.
