Hardee’s at 1750 South Columbia Road has closed.

The fast-food restaurant appears to have closed its doors before the Fourth of July holiday. On Monday, July 6, the restaurant sat empty and its sign had been removed. The closure leaves one other location of Hardee’s in Grand Forks, at 1213 N. 47th St.

When contacted by the Herald on Monday, the manager at the North 47 Street location said he was not allowed to comment as to why the business closed, or whether or not the building has been sold.

Grand Forks County records list the owner of the building as Northland Real Estate Holdings LLC. A phone call and message to the company seeking comment went unreturned.

County records show the restaurant was built in 1984. The building underwent a number of renovations over the years, most recently in 2016, when the bathroom and dining areas were remodeled, and the roof was repaired.
