Green Mill On the Go to open in Grand Forks this week

GRAND FORKS — Green Mill is making a comeback in Grand Forks, sort of.

Hightop Hospitality, which owns and operates Green Mill and Crooked Pint Ale House, is rolling out Green Mill On the Go in Grand Forks on Wednesday, June 22, according to a news release from the company.

Green Mill On the Go is located within the Crooked Pint Ale House in Grand Forks at 1930 S. Columbia Rd. Green Mill On the Go is based on the Green Mill Restaurant & Bar brand, and features a limited menu compared to its namesake, the release noted.

“We are excited to offer two strong and growing Midwest brands out of one spot,” Paul Dzubnar, CEO of Hightop Hospitality said in a news release. “Whether it’s our award-winning Green Mill pizza or our award-winning Crooked Pint juicy lucys, we are giving our guests in the area more options to choose from.”

Green Mill previously operated in Grand Forks at the same location as the Crooked Pint, but Green Mill closed in 2017 .

Besides pizza, including deep dish, the menu will also include wings and Green Mill’s popular Diablo sauce. Calzones and cheese bread round out the limited menu.

Takeout options will be available on Green Mill’s website and its app. Delivery will also be available via third-party apps.

This is the third Green Mill On the Go location, with the first rolling out in Maplewood, Minnesota in 2021. The second location opened in Savage, Minnesota in May. Additional Green Mill On the Go sites are planned to open at other Crooked Pint locations later this year.

As a part of the opening, the Green Mill Pizza Truck will be offering a free slice of pizza giveaway the day before the opening on Tuesday, June 21, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with slice of pizza per guest in the parking lot.
