presents a down payment check to Grand Forks Park District

Commission President, Jay Panzer for a new shelter

to be built in Lions Park. Three local Lions Clubs (South

Forks Lions Club, Grand Forks Lions Club & Red River Lions

Club) have each given a third of the cost towards the

new shelter which will be built this summer. The shelter

which measures 16 by 32 will be available for all citizens

to use. Lions Park is to the east of Century Elementary

School on 17th Avenue South.
