Edward Jones financial advisor becomes chartered retirement planning counselor

GRAND FORKS — Edward Jones financial advisor Ross Johnson has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor professional designation.

Johnson earned this designation by completing the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, Professional Education Program from the Denver-based College for Financial Planning, passed a comprehensive final exam and agreed to abide by the college’s code of conduct.

The CRPC training program focuses on individuals’ pre- and post-retirement needs with study topics including the principles of retirement planning, sources of retirement income, employer-sponsored plans and more.
