EAST GRAND FORKS — A book signing slated for this weekend for Molly Yeh's new cookbook, "Home is Where the Eggs Are," has been pushed back a week.

The book signing has been rescheduled for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, according to an Instagram post from Bernie's, Yeh's new restaurant.

"Unfortunately, Molly has come down with a bug so we have decided to reschedule her book signing for a week from tomorrow," the post said.

Bernie's is still slated to open on Saturday at 8 a.m.

The post said that if someone cannot make it to the changed date, they are "still welcome to come in, purchase a book and leave it at the store until Molly can get in to sign and personalize it for you."

The opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, for breakfast and lunch. Dinner service is set to roll out in the coming weeks.

The restaurant opening comes after months of anticipation. The long-rumored food spot was first announced in April during East Grand Forks' State of the City address, a few weeks later the restaurant's name was announced.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
