A local dental practitioner, Dr. Daniel L. Kelly, was
inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists at its 82nd Annual Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 10, 2011.
An honorary organization for the recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to the profession and community, the College presented Dr. Kelly with a membership plaque, a gold lapel pin and a gold key
symbolic of this Fellowship for conspicuous service rendered the art and
science of Dentistry. Dr. Kelly served on the North Dakota State Board of

Dental Examiners as president, Central Regional Testing (CRDT) for 20 years, American Dental Political Action Committee (11 years), delegate to North Dakota State Dental Association and as president of Northeast
District Dental Society. In the community, he also served as dental
representative for United Way, ARC Committee, Calvary Lutheran Church stewardship drive & Cub Scout executive committee.
In an impressive cap and gown ceremony, almost 300 dentists from the
United States were inducted into the College at this year's ceremony
witnessed by hundreds of members and guests. The college, with representative chapters in more than 80 countries, has over 11,000 members, including about 6,500 in the United States.
