Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton will tour the site of the Juneberry 3 fire today and meet and thank firefighters at the Incident Command Center in Greenbush, Minn.
He will be at the Greenbush fire hall at 9:45 a.m. today.
Dayton then will convene a regional economic development summit starting at 1 p.m. at Northland Community and Technical College Theater, 1101 Highway One East, Thief River Falls.
The summit is aimed at gathering the best ideas on job creation from Minnesotans and to highlight Minnesota's strong business climate and economic development opportunities.
Panelists include DEED Commissioner Mark Phillips, Sen. Rod Skoe, Rep. Dan Fabian, Rep. David Hancock, Thief River Falls Mayor Steve Nordhagen, Roseau Mayor Jeff Pelowski, Northland Community and Technical College President Anne Temte, and representatives from local business and education leaders. The summit is open to the public.

The governor has held regional summits throughout the state, including: Winona, Fergus Falls, Brainerd, Virginia, Faribault, International Falls and Duluth. These summits will culminate in a statewide jobs summit later this month.
In the evening back in St. Paul, Dayton will attend the portrait unveiling for Governor Tim Pawlenty at the State Capitol.
