Sanford POWER has announced that it will open a new location at the Columbia Mall in Grand Forks.
It is a training center for athletes offering new technological solutions to build mobility, strength, speed, agility and more. It is open to athletes of all ages and abilities. The center will occupy three retail spaces while covering more than 16,000 feet in the same wing of the mall as Scheels.
The center will house turf surfaces, a 35-meter sprint track, strength training equipment, including Matrix power racks, cardio equipment, and Alter G treadmill and more.
It will be led by Anthony Morando, who served as the strength and conditioning coach for Boston University’s men’s hockey team from 2011 to 2015.
“The new Sanford POWER Center in Grand Forks will be at a unique location that has the space, programming and equipment to showcase all the expertise Sanford POWER has to offer,” Morando said. “We plan to have information about our grand opening and our fall and winter programs soon.”
