Ghale joins volunteer program
Lal Bahadur Ghale has joined the Lutheran Social Services Senior Companions program as a volunteer senior companion serving in Grand Forks. Ghale, originally from Bhutan, previously served as a food distribution volunteer.
Altru recognized
Altru Health System has been named in the Advanced Category of the 2015 Health Care's Most Wired survey. The survey examined how organizations are using information technology to improve performance for value-based health care.
Altru director of applications named

Alex Todorovic has been named the director of applications for Altru Health System. Todorovic has been with Altru's information services since 1997. Todorovic earned his bachelor's degree in information systems management and health care administration from Park University in Parkville, Mo., and a master's degree in business administration from Bismarck-based University of Mary.
Dubourt retires
The Board of Directors for Choice Financial Group has named Leon Dubourt as director emeritus upon his retirement from the board. Dubourt is a founding member of Choice Financial.
NDIDA Chairman elected
Dan Gorder, Grafton, N.D., was elected chairman of the North Dakota Implement Dealers Association during its convention in Bismarck. Gorder has been a member of the board since 2008 and served as its first vice chairman last year.
Central Boiler distributes
Central Boiler held its 23rd annual profit-sharing meeting Nov. 20 in Greenbush, Minn. Owners Dennis and Terri Brazier announced more than $1.26 million will be distributed to 231 employees at the Greenbush location. Employee bonus checks will be determined by the length of their employment.
Local judge writes book

Grand Forks Judge Jon Jensen has authored the North Dakota chapter of the 20th Edition Property Tax Deskbook published by the American Bar Association. Jensen was a practicing attorney who focused on tax matters before being appointed a judge for the Northeast Central Judicial District.
