Boe joins United Valley Bank
Darby Boe has joined United Valley Bank in Argyle, Minn., as its vice president of ag lending. Boe brings more than a decade of lending experience in the ag industry to United Valley Bank. Before joining United Valley Bank, he worked as a lender in Warren, Minn. He holds an agribusiness degree from North Dakota State University and a masters in business administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck.
Gullickson joins RiverView Health
Tia Gullickson is the new health care provider at RiverView Health's Red Lake Falls (Minn.) Clinic. She is a certified family nurse practitioner and will work full-time in Red Lake Falls. Gullickson received her LPN and RN degrees from Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls. She went on to graduate from Minnesota State University Moorhead with her bachelor of science in nursing, and in May she graduated from UND with her master's in nursing; family nurse practitioner.
Halverson receives award

Todd Halverson of the Grand Forks Happy Joe's was named the recipient of several wards at the Annual Franchise Meeting in Iowa, with the most prestigious being the Franchisee of the Year. Halverson joined Happy Joe's in Bettendorf, Iowa more than 20 years ago.
Altru receives award
Altru Health System in Grand Forks has received the American College of Cardiology's NCDR ACTION Registry-GWTG Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2015. Altru Health Systems is one of only 319 hospitals nationwide to receive the honor. The award recognizes Altru's commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of care for heart attack patients and signifies that Altru has reached an aggressive goal of treating these patients to standard levels of care.
RiverView Health Board Members recognized
RiverView Health Board members Robin Brekken and Trent Fischer were recently recognized alongside 11 hospital trustees from across the state for earning certification through the Minnesota Hospital Association's trustee certification program. Brekken is currently the chairman of the RiverView Health Board of Directors, and Fischer is vice chair.
Grand Forks Public Health Department honored
The Grand Forks Public Health Department was honored with the Model Practice Award at the 2015 Annual Conference of the National Association of Country and City Health Officials. The award celebrates local health departments for developing programs that demonstrate exemplary and replicable best practices in response to a critical local public health need.
