Bright Brushes is a local business that brings painting parties to restaurants, homes and corporate settings.

Amanda Rengstorf, founder and sole operator of the business, teaches attendees painting techniques and provides the art supplies while venues or hosts handle food and drink.

Rengstorf presented her business Wednesday morning at 1 Million Cups, a weekly event held at the Empire Arts Center where businesses with ties to Grand Forks can come, meet fellow professionals and get feedback on their start-ups.
