AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) has hired Brian Barclay as an Information Technology Developer in the firm's Grand Forks, North Dakota, headquarters. He will be responsible for web programming and web application development.
Barclay is an expert at writing code, and has extensive experience at developing applications, graphics, and animations. "I am thrilled to be joining such an outstanding firm," Barclay said of his new position at AE2S. "Having followed the people at AE2S for some time now, I have admired their leadership, not only in their field, but also in the communities in which they work. I am really excited to be a part of that."
Barclay brings more than six years of experience in web development and database design to AE2S. Before joining the firm, he worked at Atlas Research and the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota (UND) as a Web Developer, and as an Online Educational Media Developer for UND's Division of Continuing Education. He is trained in PHP programming, database design and development, and a number of multi-media development tools.
Barclay was involved in the creation of TruSeve (a non-profit grant activity tracking web application), the Rural Assistance Center (a government initiative creating an online database of resources for rural communities), and the Health Workforce Information Center (a government initiative creating an online database of health workforce related resources).
Originally from Grand Forks, Barclay earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of North Dakota.
