Younggren Accepts Agriculturist Position at American Crystal

Scott Younggren has accepted the Agriculturist position at American Crystal Sugar Company’s Drayton factory district.

In this position, Younggren will provide agronomic expertise to growers in the production of a high-quality beet crop to maximize the recoverable sugar per acre.

Younggren has a bachelors degree in plant industries management- agronomy from the University of Minnesota, Crookston. He has 15 years of agronomy and sales experience, most recently with Hefty Seed Company.

American Crystal is a grower-owned cooperative and the nation’s largest beet sugar producer with operating facilities in Moorhead, Crookston, and East Grand Forks, Minnesota; Hillsboro and Drayton, North Dakota; and Sidney, Montana.
