Northern Technologies (NTI) Acquired by American Engineering Testing
American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), a leading provider of geotechnical, environmental, and forensic engineering; materials engineering and testing, petrography/chemistry services, and building sciences, announces the acquisition of Northern Technologies, LLC (NTI), an engineering firm with complementary service lines. Effective February 28, 2022, staff from all NTI offices have become part of the AET team.
This acquisition strengthens AET’s North Dakota presence with new offices in Fargo, Bismarck, and Grand Forks and will fortify existing AET locations in Rapid City, South Dakota and St Paul, Minnesota.
“The former NTI employees bring a broad range of engineering and construction materials testing capabilities, along with a culture and commitment to teamwork, and client service comparable to our own,” said Dan Larson, AET’s CEO. “We welcome these talented professionals to the AET Team and will provide them with an environment where they can flourish”.
Jeremy Cox, Vice President of AET’s Western Region, added, “These former NTI locations will now have the full backing of AET, including increased resources, new technologies, a deeper bench of service line expertise, and increased capacity. We see this acquisition as a growth opportunity that will enable us to better serve existing and new clients throughout the Dakotas and Minnesota.
This acquisition, which adds about 35 employees to the AET team, is in line with the firm’s history of strategic expansion.
