Hanevold Accepts Engineering Superintendent Position at American Crystal

Keaton Hanevold has accepted the Engineering Superintendent position at American Crystal Sugar Company’s Hillsboro factory district.

In this position, Hanevold will provide project management and execute engineering activities for the factory, including support of special projects. He will ensure the maintenance of the 5-year capital plan, engineering for future projects and oversee yearly project objectives.

Hanevold has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. He has been with American Crystal since 2016, most recently as the Engineering Superintendent in Crookston.

American Crystal is a grower-owned cooperative and the nation’s largest beet sugar producer with operating facilities in Moorhead, Crookston, and East Grand Forks, Minnesota; Hillsboro and Drayton, North Dakota; and Sidney, Montana.
