Frandsen Bank & Trust Announces Beaudry Hire, Gjelsness Promotion

Frandsen Bank & Trust Grand Forks market president Bernie Knutson announced that Derek Beaudry has been hired as an ag/business banker, and that Megan Gjelsness has been promoted to a personal banker.

Knutson states, “Derek’s 18 years of experience in both ag banking and commercial lending, along with his knowledge of local economy, will benefit both our customers and Frandsen Bank.”

Beaudry adds, “I’m excited to be a part of Frandsen Bank, a progressive and growing bank. I’m looking forward to working with existing ag and commercial clients, and building new relationships.”

Derek resides in Grand Forks and is a licensed foster parent in Grand Forks County. In his free time, Beaudry enjoys hunting, watching his kids race bikes, go karts, and snocross, and spending time with family and friends.

Of Gjelsness’s promotion, Knutson says, “Since Megan’s arrival in 2016, she has become an important member of our team by providing outstanding service to our customers and her team members.” Megan adds, “I enjoy being part of the Frandsen team and I am excited to continue to grow relationships with my existing and future customers.”

Megan resides in Reynolds with her husband, Chris, and their new baby, Luke. Megan is involved with the Greater Grand Forks Young Professionals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and being outside.
