An online clothing business from Arvilla, N.D., plans to expand to downtown Grand Forks.
Ann Love has set a tentative soft opening date for Feb. 24, boutique owner Callie Schmidt said Thursday. A grand opening for the store at 402 DeMers Ave. is scheduled for March 10.
Schmidt said she started her online business last spring with the goal of opening a physical store. She described her clothing line as one aimed at young and contemporary styles.
“The online business just outgrew my home, so it was time to make an upgrade to a physical store,” she said, adding she couldn’t pass up the opening in downtown Grand Forks.
The business has taken over the 2,600-square-foot space once occupied by Sadie’s Couture Floral and Event Styling, which moved to 899 Second Ave. N. in late 2016.

Schmidt said she wants her store to present Grand Forks shoppers more options and variety.
