AE2S Survey for "The Grove" Wins Award
AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, Inc.) Survey Technician Adam Sletten was the recipient of the Map Design Award presented at the North Dakota Society of Professional Land Surveyors annual conference held in Bismarck, ND.
Sletten won the award for the completion of an ALTA (American Land Title Association) survey of "The Grove at Campus Crest", an apartment community development catering to college students located north of the Canad Inn in Grand Forks, North Dakota. An ALTA survey is a very detailed survey done for a title company and/or lender in which survey and location data is needed to issue title or mortgage insurance. For this purpose, a map is drawn to ALTA specifications.
Entries for the Map Design Award are judged based on completeness and accuracy as they relate to the type of drawing entered, conformance to drawing standards, and neatness or appearance.
"Adam joins a growing list of AE2S surveyors who have won this award," said Todd Norton, PLS, Survey/Project Manager at AE2S. "We are proud of their work and look forward to conducting more of these important surveys for our clients."
