Fort Yates crash kills two
The Highway Patrol said a car crossed the center line of a highway north of Fort Yates, N.D., and struck a van, killing two passengers in the van.
Authorities said Luree Claymore, 34, and Clay Claymore, 28, both of Fort Yates, were dead at the scene of the crash.
It happened about 12:40 a.m. Wednesday on state Highway 24 in Sioux County.
The patrol said alcohol was involved.

Authorities said the driver of the car, Matthew Penny, 21, Fort Yates, and the driver of the van, Jenna Claymore, 23, Fort Yates, as well as an infant in the van were treated in Bismarck for injuries.
Farm machinery fatality
The Ramsey County sheriff said a man has died after being run over by a piece of farm machinery.
Authorities said Ronald Zacher, 63, Crary, N.D., was working in his yard when it happened Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Steve Nelson said Zacher was apparently getting on or off the equipment when he slipped and fell under the machine and was run over.
