Grand Forks International Airport has received a federal grant to cover some of its operations.

Senator Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., announced the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration’s $1.4 million grant, in a news release on Monday, April 26. The grant is funded by the Coronavirus Relief and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2020.

Funds will be used for operations, personnel, cleaning, sanitization, janitorial services, debt service payments and combating the spread of pathogens at the airport.
