EAST GRAND FORKS, Minn. — The crew at Hardware Hank in East Grand Forks is trading fall favorites for winter essentials.
The grills will soon be gone and the snowblowers will be out in their place. The family-owned business said it'll have snowblowers, salt, shovels and brushes available by Wednesday, Oct. 9.
With the possibility of the area getting several inches of snow, the store said it will be ready for a rush of customers.
"This one is taking us a little bit by surprise because it's coming so quickly that we are scrambling a little bit to get stuff going ... we are working hard and diligently," said Kay Buckalew, who was helping her son prepare the store for winter weather.
Hardware Hank opens at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
