The East Grand Forks Shopko Hometown is now on a list for store closings.
The likely last day of operation is May 5, according to a store closing document on the company's website.
The general merchandise retailer recently announced it has filed voluntary petitions for financial restructuring under the Chapter 11 bankruptcy code.
The company previously announced that several other Minnesota and North Dakota locations would also be closing.
The North Dakota locations on the closure list are Rolla, Oakes, Lisbon, Mayville and Beulah. Minnesota Shopko locations are Rochester and Fairmont, with Shopko Hometown stores in Mahnomen, Warroad and Paynesville.
"This decision is a difficult, but necessary one," said Russ Steinhorst, chief executive officer, said in a press release in January. "In a challenging retail environment, we have had to make some very tough choices, but we are confident that by operating a smaller and more focused store footprint, we will be able to build a stronger Shopko that will better serve our customers, vendors, employees and other stakeholders through this process."
