Grand Forks recently was rated the best place to live in North Dakota by Money Magazine.
Money also named Grand Forks one of the five most affordable cities on the list.
Grand Forks "boasts the best travel time of any city on our list and the lowest crime scores," the magazine said.
The Money article goes on to talk about the Greenway and the outdoor activities on the Red River.
Money also mentions cultural attractions in town, like the North Dakota Museum of Art on UND campus and the Empire Arts Center.
The magazine only considered cities with 50,000 people or more. Money said it weighted economic health, public school performance and local amenities most heavily.
