They were married August 26, 1954, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon, ND. They have four children, Carol Murie, Grand Forks, ND, Darrell (Julie) Ekberg, Manvel, ND, Colleen (Bruce) Hagen, New Rockford, ND, and Dean Ekberg, Valley City, ND, and 5 grandchildren.
