Fosston, Minn. — The Grand Forks Farmer’s Market is a place for entrepreneurs to make a name for themselves. Some are younger than others like Antonina Kuznetsov who is referring to her own line of skin care products which she launched at age 12. “I was allergic to a lot of stuff, and the scents would give me super bad headaches, that’s what made me starting to make my own,” explained the now 18-year-old.
East Grand Forks, Minn. - A family is homeless and a woman is recovering after a car went flying into an East Grand Forks apartment building Tuesday, August 8. The accident happened at the Brentwood Estates apartment complex Tuesday afternoon. As a result of the crash, a water pipe located within the apartment building was struck, causing water to spill throughout the entire apartment. A group of nearby joggers and the apartment manager were nearby and witnessed the accident take place.
ROLLA, ND (WDAZ-TV) - Jay Barker, 58, is back behind bars at the Rolette County jail and under extra security to make sure he doesn't escape again. One of the lead officers on the case shows us how the 8 hour manhunt came to an end. Sgt. Chris Wright: “By the time 3:00 came we had it pretty much covered, it was hard to find new footprints from the escapee.” But Rolla police sergeant Wright was not about to give up.
A Grand Forks family is home safe tonight. They were in the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport on Friday when a gunman opened fire on innocent passengers. From her couch at her Grand Forks home Jennifer Haugen looks at pictures from her trip to Florida. But as you can see these aren't pictures from her 5 days in the sun, but scenes from the chaos during Friday's shooting rampage at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale.
