Grand Forks birding expert Dave Lambeth took this photo of Brad the peregrine on July 6 before the bird had made its maiden flight from the nest box atop the UND water tower. The peregrine chick has been spotted flying twice in the past couple of days, regional raptor expert Tim Driscoll said Tuesday.
