Willie the Walleye, the iconic Baudette, Minn., statue that has stood along state Highway 11 since 1959, is shown in this February 2014 photo. With the outline of a wheeled fish house that had been set on the ice clearly visible in the foreground, five northern pike were dumped and left  in late January on Devils Lake. Dylan Osowski, 10, Thief River Falls, caught and released this 26-inch walleye Saturday, Feb. 10, while fishing at Long Point on Lake of the Woods north of Williams, Minn. Osowski is in fourth grade grade at Challenger Elementary School in Thief River Falls. “He is very excited about his big catch,” his mom, Jennifer, said in an email.
