Manitoba Moose, Iowa Wild to play preseason games in Grand Forks, Fargo

The Manitoba Moose and the Iowa Wild, the top minor-league affiliates for the Winnipeg Jets and the Minnesota Wild, will play exhibition games in Grand Forks and Fargo this fall.

The Moose and Wild will play in Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks on Friday, Sept. 29, and they will play in Fargo's Scheels Arena on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster on Aug. 18 at 10 a.m.

“We’re excited to bring professional hockey back to Ralph Engelstad Arena," said Jody Hodgson, general manager of The Ralph.  “These are some of the best hockey players in the world who will be competing for a spot on an NHL roster. If you’re a fan of the Jets or the Wild, this is a great opportunity to see what the future of your favorite team will look like.”

This is the third year in a row that the Moose and Wild have played a preseason game in Grand Forks.

Former UND All-American and East Grand Forks Senior High graduate Tucker Poolman is under contract with the Winnipeg Jets.
