UND HOCKEY: The Ralph could get new boards and glass

A bunch of former UND players got together over the weekend in Brainerd. T.J. Oshie posted this picture on Twitter.

The Ralph sent out an Instagram post last week, showing the boards and glass being removed to have new ones installed.

Technically, the boards and glass were out only to measure. No new boards have been purchased yet, though The Ralph is definitely looking into the possibility of that this summer.

The boards are the same ones that were installed in 2001 when the building opened. In some spots, you could tell they were curling near the ice. If someone sent a puck flat toward the boards, it would sometimes kick up in the air instead of bounce back.
