Former UND forward Drick Bernstine will transfer to Washington State.

Bernstine, who announced earlier this month his intent to be a graduate transfer, will be eligible immediately in Pullman.

Bernstine, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound native of Aurora, Colo., finished his junior year with an average of 8.3 points and 7.5 rebounds.

Bernstine, who started 30 of UND’s 31 games a year ago, scored 20 points and had 15 rebounds against Arizona in UND’s first-ever NCAA Division I men’s basketball tournament appearance last March.

WSU finished 13-18 overall last season and ended the year in 10th of 12 Pac 12 teams.
