Q. What's your favorite road trip in the NCHC?

A. Denver. I've only been there once, but I thought it was fun and it was a pretty cool city, too. We get to travel there a little earlier.

Q. What's one thing Grand Forks needs to get?

A. Chipotle, for sure.

Q. Who is the best player you've ever played against?

A. Pavel Datsyuk.

Q. What's your favorite hockey movie?

A. Miracle.

Q. Is a hot dog a sandwich?

A. Nope.

Q. What's the first concert you ever attended?

A. Foo Fighters with my dad and brother in Oslo. I think I was 10.

A. I'd say my mom's lasagna. Enough to fill up five guys.

A. Mark Poolman.

A. Colton Poolman.

A. I'm a big fan of broccoli.

A. Oslo.

Brad Elliott Schlossman

Schlossman is in his 13th year covering college hockey for the Herald. In 2016 and 2018, he was named the top beat writer in the country by the Associated Press Sports Editors. He also was the NCHC's inaugural Media Excellence Award winner in 2018. Schlossman has voted in the national college hockey poll since 2007 and has served as a member of the Hobey Baker and Patty Kazmaier Award committees.
