UND's Geno Crandall arrested on suspicion of DUI


UND men's basketball player Geno Crandall was arrested Sunday morning and booked into Grand Forks County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.
"We are aware of the situation involving Geno Crandall and are still gathering the pertinent information," UND men's basketball coach Brian Jones said. "We will not provide any further comment at this time."
Crandall, an all-Big Sky Conference second team pick, averaged 15.5 points last year as a sophomore. He helped the Fighting Hawks reach the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history.
Crandall is a Minneapolis native and attended basketball powerhouse DeLaSalle High School.
