Robert Russell, flaunting his American pride, from head to DRINK. A Canadian who served for the U.S remains loyal after all these years to a country he claims as home. This man put in his time to protect this country. It may not have been long, but more than most. His loyalty has no bounds. After he served, they tried to deport him, yet approximately 60 years later he remains a proud citizen of the United States. He applied this quality to all aspects of life. He is survived by his wife of, Janice, of 58 years, daughters Lori Clouse, Kimberly Vaughan, and Dianna Russell, son John Russell, thirteen grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all. Services will be at Normans Funeral home at 9am on Friday May 18. Followin the service will be a gathering at the East Grand Forks American Legion at 11am.
