Jeffrey L. "Jeff" Fosse

Jeffrey Lloyd Fosse, 55, of Grand Forks passed away peacefully on October 4, 2017, 2 years after being diagnosed with glioblastoma (Brain Cancer). Jeff was born on September 27, 1962 to Lloyd and Yvonne (Kath) Fosse in Michigan, ND where he attended school graduating in 1980.

He attended North Dakota State School of Science with degrees in plumbing, heating and cooling. He was employed with Lunseth Plumbing & Heating for 35 years in commercial construction at various jobs in North Dakota, many US states and worldwide.

Jeff and Glenna (Skjervem) were married on October 19, 1985 in Michigan, ND. They had one son, Bryan Jeffrey and resided in Grand Forks.

Jeff coached his son's basketball team for many years and watched him in all his sporting events and activities. He enjoyed hunting pheasant, deer and elk and also going ice fishing. He loved golfing at King's Walk and playing his favorite courses in Hawaii. A highlight was going to the Ryder Cup last year with his son and cousin Mike. Jeff enjoyed UND sports and looked forward to tailgating at every home football game. Jeff had a passion for grilling, especially on his Big Green Egg. He was famous for his BBQ ribs and hot wings. Jeff was a devoted employee and family man who especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter.

Jeff is survived by: his wife Glenna; son, Bryan (Lindsay) Fosse and granddaughter Karlie, Grand Forks; parents, Lloyd & Vonnie Fosse, Grand Forks; a sister Amy (Virgil) Schmidt; and their daughters, Brittany and Breanna, Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Lisa (Karmen) Johnson, Fargo, ND and their children, Andrea (Tyler) Einarson; Erica (Aaron) Lien; brother-in-law, Paul Skjervem, Brocket, ND; and his children, Lynette Maycock; Caitlin Skjervem, Shaylie Skjervem; brother-in-law, Loren (Liz) Skjervem, Rapid City, SD, and their children, Sabra (Brian) Rohrback; Amber Skjervem; Several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents Ted & Orpha Fosse, Ed & Edith Kath; and in-laws, Leland and Margaret Skjervem.

Visitation: will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m Prayer Service Sunday, October 8, 2017 at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, and one hour prior to the service in the church.

Funeral Services: will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2017 at Sharon Lutheran Church, 1720 S. 20th St., Grand Forks. Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks.

Memorials are preferred to Altru Cancer Center, Grand Forks; Hospice of the Red River Valley; Sharon Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice. Online guestbook is available at
