Two injured in McHenry County rollover
Two people are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a hospital in Minot following a vehicle rollover in McHenry County on Monday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Evelyn Sims, 18, was driving west on North Dakota Highway 19, about 10 miles north of Anamoose, N.D., at 7:20 a.m., when she missed an intersection at 16th Avenue North East. She continued traveling west over a gravel road, where she lost control of her vehicle and rolled over into a ditch.
Sims and 18-year-old passenger Morgan Weddell were transported to Trinity Hospital for injuries, according to the Patrol.
Officers issued Sims a care-required citation.
Both Sims and the passenger were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, according to a Patrol press release. The vehicle, a 2005 GM Envoy, was totaled.
