Police offering $500 for info on Valley Dairy robbery
The Grand Forks Police Department is offering a $500 reward to anyone who can help them find the suspect in a convenience store robbery.
The agency released a new photo of the suspect and a car believed to be connected to the perpetrator in the Jan. 12 robbery of Valley Dairy at 2401 S. Columbia Road. Investigators said a knife-wielding man entered the store, demanded money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The car appears to be a gray four-door sedan. The suspect in images sent to media appears to be wearing dark-colored pants, a large blue jacket, tan chopper mittens, a bomber-style hat and a black and white striped scarf. Most of the photos show the scarf over the suspect's face, but one image shows the scarf pulled down to reveal his face. Those with information on the case should call (701) 787-8000, submit a tip to the Police Department's Facebook page or to www.grandforksgov.com/government/police, email information to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a tip using the Tip411 app.
