Recall set for Oberon councilman who allegedly told people to vote for him on Election Day
A recall is set for Jan. 27 for Paul Stensland, a newly elected member of City Council in Oberon, N.D.
The petition contained 17 signatures, according to a report in the Benson County Farmers Press.
Oberon is a town of about 100 people in Benson County.
Petitioners claim he approached potential voters on Election Day and "told them to vote for him."
That, they say, is a violation of state law.
