3 hurt in rollover near Thief River Falls

Three people were injured Saturday night in a one-vehicle rollover near Thief River Falls.

According to a report from Minnesota State Patrol, Glenn Meyer, 73, Thief River Falls, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer northbound on U.S. Highway 59 when a deer entered the roadway from the east ditch. Meyer swerved, hit the deer, and then apparently overcorrected, police said. The vehicle left the road and rolled, landing on its roof.

Meyer and two passengers, Susan Meyer, 62, also of Thief River Falls, and Leora Klava, 69, Grand Forks, were transported to Sanford Health in Thief River Falls, where they were treated for injuries and released.
