Mills outraises Nolan in 8th District race

DULUTH -- Republican challenger Stewart Mills reported Tuesday that he had outraised incumbent Democrat Rick Nolan in the campaign cash race for Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District election.

Mills raised just over $338,000 from April through June, while Nolan reported raising nearly $284,000 over the same period, according to reports the campaigns must file with the Federal Elections Commission.

But Nolan still had more cash on hand at the end of June, at $577,000 compared to Mills’ $429,000.

The 8th District covers all of northeastern Minnesota.
