A Crookston woman is facing charges for trying to cash in on illegal lottery tickets and having drugs in a home with children, court documents said.

Mickaila Lea Finch, 28, could face up to 10 years in prison.

Court records allege she illegally claimed a lottery prize through deceit, fraud or misrepresentation in Crookston on Oct. 17. A second charge alleges she stole less than $500 from an Ampride gas station.

Finch is also facing charges for allegedly storing methamphetamine in the same residence as a child on Oct. 26. She has been convicted of three previous drug-related crimes, court records show.
